Cannot Open Scm Access Is Denied Windows 7
This resolved my issue. When the pc rebooted my new virtual cd-rom drive was visible in windows explorer and accessible. DLF I just stumbled upon this today and love that it works rather simply! When I went to save my work on the program I was using I noticed a new cd rom drive. Check This Out

Lickydog It is probably a copy-protected disc and is not recognising the virtual image as valid. Saeed Iranzad Hi It doesn't work for me. If you run Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel as Admin, you can load the driver, create a drive, and mount an ISO image. Execute VCdControlTool.exe 3.

Like most other stuff you do need to install Daemon Tools as an Administrator but afterwards it works properly for normal users. 9 Comments For anyone running their systems as non-admins It would appear that only applications running as admin can see the newly-created drives. GETTING THE DRIVES TO SHOW UP IN EXPLORER a) run a command prompt as administrator (right click and "run as administrator") b) check that it can see your virtual drives by navigate to this website The stop button is disabled in the driver control window.

tested a lot. GETTING VCDCONTROLTOOL WORKING: a) right click VCdControlTool, select properties and then compatibility b) select compatibility for Windows XP SP2 and tick the run as administrator box The program should now run Virtual Cd Rom Windows 7 64 Bit Anonymous Once i mount file it pulls up the mounted file, bu when i click on i nohing happens. I tried Alcohol 120%, DaemonLite Free, MagicISO Maker, Virtual CloneDrive, I think I even downloaded a 64 bit version of one of them. liz tried to use this prgram however I folloew the installation instructions to the letter and execute the program click driver control and it says cannot open SCM. This automatically populates Z: into the drive list. You can unzip the file contents to any folder. Know how to grow your business the smart way!
