Failed To Terminate Rs232 Thread
The easier solution is to just make sure applicatiosn are actually closed when you stop using them, and not just sitting in the background eating resources and Com ports. What moote suggests fixed exactly the same problem that I had with TT5 and MM running on my Ipaq. You may find if you receive this error that you are unable to change the COM port in Memory-Map, and in rare cases are unable to print or close Memory-Map down im using windows xp Check which mode the GPS is using to communicate with the RS232 port. If so has anyone got a link. You can get port sharing software, but you have to pay for it. Anyways, anyone know about this issue? THe first and biggest problem I have is that the GPS is not working. weblink the NMEA model? Sounds very strange to me - as far as I know they are not geo-stationary so the satellites goes around and thus there are not specific Asian satellites. For example which port did you select to create as virtual port? When I press enter still nothing.
You can follow the instructions here: http://franson.com/gpsgate/guide.asp?se ... I would doubt you have other software trying to use a COM port. I do have TT3 on the PDA as well as MM. Main problem was the Memory map GPS setup.
