Did you install it onto that drive using wine (using wineprefixcreate), or is it a real windows install perhaps? So any advice from my side can only be generic: Test to see if things work the way they are supposed to work. Anything that complicates things even more is, well, a challenge :) So you don't think I should do that huh? Is there any objection to do so?

But how did you get wine to install diablo on something else than the default c: drive? (sorry if I'm just dense) So you don't think I should do that huh?
The sg driver and IBM tape device driver do not allow access to SCSI devices by non-root user IDs. I am running out of ideas. More, your command specifies a relative path, which suggests to the system that diablo.exe is in the current working directory (e.g. The tape drives are accessed via the (n)st0, (n)st1,...

The AppDB indicates that it should work. worked like a charm I'm glad we changed that too cause I'm sure the same thing would've happened if I'd tried and installed another older game like starcraft. Now I have another justified reason to delete windows. Thanks, Stefano jmozdzen23-Apr-2013, 15:15Hi Stefano, Hi Jens, thanks for your information.
