I believe the key is the total removal of MSE by "Appremoval" giving you a clean slate to start off with. I started getting this error around May 2nd and it happens three to four times every time my system boots. Windows Defender is not running and was already set to manual and I have since just disabled it. PC (Windows 7) suddenly started booting up much slower a few days ago and noticed this error in the log, not sure if the two events are linked. Haven't tried disabling Windows Defender yet; it's on manual and hasn't been started, so I don't see how disabling it could help. I don't have AVG. I completely closed Kaspersky and its services to see if this fixed it.

Other programmes trigger Ashampoo for authorisation of programmes however AVG8 does not trigger Ashampoo Firewall permission box. The root of this nasty problem was the earlier build of Kaspersky Internet security 2010. Until then, it would be nice if someone could propose a workaround. When I checked the windows services table, I noticed that IPsec has in fact been started but probably not in a timely fashion.
