x 241 Fabian Malhage In my case, I resolved this problem by going to "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters" on my first DC and changing the "IsDomainMaster" key to "TRUE". One of the switches plugged into that one is a 16-port linksys switch that has the other server plugged in to it. no more mrxsmb, no more network connection interupted in access. The problem is that I'm not certain that the MRxSmb warnings are, on their own, the whole problem. At first, I was worried my server was beginning to crash, but it was fine.

- You will probably not notice it if you are copying medium to large files, as the throughput remains high with this warning, but the overhead at the beginning of each file
- It does not do any damage as far as I'm aware though.

The only warning i can find relating to this is the event MrXsmb Event ID 3019 "The redirector failed to determine the connection type." i believe solving this mrxsmb issue will Mrxsmb 8003 Event ID: 3019 Source: MRxSmb Source: MRxSmb Type: Warning Description:The redirector failed to determine the connection type. Both wired and wireless machines seem to be effected. check it out which basically checks if a file exists and if not puts in a template to be filled in..

The program i have written creates over 200 webpages, sometimes but not always during the creation/updating of these webpages access tells me it has lost connection to the mapped network drive
