We have asked to be able to clear winsxs for years and got the same stupid answ er for years. I've installed the update, installed Desktop Experience, run as administrator, and Windows Update Cleanup is still a no-show. In other words, it is doing exactly what our update does for Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
