Grub Bootmgr Is Missing
The time now is 15:13. I put in the windows XP dvd to do a repair installation, and everything goes ok, however it overwrites the prior dual boot menu. I never realized that it impacted Chameleon.
I just disabled the sata for my mac ssd in the bios, and in the boot menu, I selected the sata option for my install disk rather than the uefi option. I now get a there is no operating system on the current HD error! :( If you guys know the fix to this please help as I am stuck. I decided to try to run the fix on C:/Windows. Ubuntu Boot Repair I added sda1 as another grub2 entry, but when I try that, I get the error message "Windows Boot Manager/ Windows failed to start.

MOBO: Z77X-UPX5-TH Any know what I have done wrong? I went through the steps ok. The machine came with FreeDOS, Lenovo's equivalent of "No Operating System," as well as a Windows Vista repair partition; there are also 2 partitions there from a failed Ubuntu installation. Anyway, I install the new motherboard and such, and then installed Win7-64 without a hitch.

Why not create a Windows 7 DVD slip streamed with SP1 that has been downloaded separately and then re-install Windows 7 Pro?
