The culprit was the tftp line in /etc/inetd.conf as mentioned in the following link: http://www.beer.org/blog/category/tech-stuff.html Most probably when xinetd runs as a daemon, the /etc/inetd.conf takes precedence over the config files The tftpboot directory is there and in the right location, the CRMTFTP service is running and there are no other TFTP services running on the server I checked the switches/MSFC's and Hi SabbyIf you are trying to upload a firmware to TFTP server then this server does not work.
